Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Mechanic and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle repair and maintenance services. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and service a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Your expertise will help keep our customers' vehicles in top condition, providing reliable transportation and peace of mind. We are looking for energetic, detail-oriented professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about automotive excellence. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain systems. Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and wheel balancing to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Service ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brake systems, and other specialized automotive features with precision. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to execute repairs ranging from minor adjustments to major overhauls. Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair guides to ensure proper repair procedures are followed. Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating reports, and communicate clearly with customers about repairs needed. Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. Solid mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including diesel engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and auto body repair. Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, welding techniques, and the use of schematics for troubleshooting complex issues. Hands-on experience with GM vehicles or similar makes is preferred but not required. Ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive maintenance tools. Strong customer service skills to explain repairs clearly and provide excellent service experiences. Knowledge of auto estimating software and auto body repair processes is a plus.
