Job Description

Owen Ford in Jarratt, VA is growing and we're looking for a Ford Certified Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll work through repair orders, perform hands-on diagnostics, and service a wide range of Ford vehicle systems, from engine and transmission to electrical, brakes, and beyond. What We Offer Competitive pay with performance-based incentives Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and paid holidays Employee discounts on vehicles, parts, and service Uniforms provided Ongoing Ford training and professional development A supportive, team-oriented dealership environment What You'll Do Carry out repairs specified on each repair order efficiently and in line with dealership standards Test-drive vehicles and evaluate components using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment Diagnose, service, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning Keep Service Advisors informed of any additional repairs needed and provide accurate time estimates Complete all warranty repairs in accordance with Ford manufacturer specifications What We're Looking For Ford Certification required 2+ years of service technician experience, preferably at a Ford dealership B-level qualifications including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting ability Proficient with electronic diagnostic equipment and tools Steady hands, excellent hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail Ability to learn new technologies, repair procedures, and technical specifications Strong communication and customer service skills Basic computer competency Positive, team-oriented attitude with a drive to improve High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Owen Ford is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
