Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic automotive service team as an Automotive Technician specializing in GM vehicles, including GMC, Chevrolet, and other General Motors brands. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a wide range of modern automotive systems, from traditional mechanical components to advanced electronic features. As a vital part of our dealership, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will help keep our customers safely on the road while advancing your career in a fast-paced, supportive environment. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicle systems, including powertrains, transmissions, electrical systems, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Utilize schematics and automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and alignments to uphold dealership standards. Repair and replace mechanical components using hand tools and power tools with precision and safety. Diagnose complex electrical problems involving automotive electrical systems and sensors. Execute diesel engine repairs and welding tasks as needed for specialized vehicle maintenance. Follow manufacturer guidelines for service procedures on GM vehicles to ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Experience Proven dealership experience or service technician experience working with GM vehicles or similar brands. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair, diagnostics, and maintenance. Familiarity with automotive schematics, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic software tools. Experience working with ADAS technologies such as lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and collision avoidance systems. Knowledge of vehicle alignment procedures and powertrain components including transmissions and diesel engines. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive service tools effectively. Excellent customer service skills combined with auto estimating experience to communicate repairs clearly to customers. Pay:
$22.16 - $40.00 per hour
