Fleet Automotive Mechanic (3+ yrs. Exp. required)

National bathroom remodeling franchise seeking an mechanic for our fleet of pick ups, vans and cargo trailers. We have approximately 20 vehicles and 15 trailers that require constant maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities:

Perform automotive repairs and maintenance tasks as assigned Maintain and monitor our fleet of trucks and trailers Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using appropriate tools and equipment Conduct regular inspections and tests to identify mechanical problems Repair or replace defective parts and components Follow repair manuals, technical specifications, and schematics to ensure accurate repairs

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic State inspection Lic Required Proficient in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment Strong knowledge of automotive repair techniques and procedures Ability to perform brake repairs, vehicle maintenance, and other general automotive services Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals Strong communication skills to interact with team and explain repairs Ability to tow a cargo trailer to storage facilities in our area of doing business
