Automotive Mechanic

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic service team. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on engines, transmissions, powertrains, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and steering components. Service vehicle maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and tire services. Repair and replace air brake systems on commercial vehicles and ensure compliance with safety standards. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle components. Execute auto body repairs such as welding and minor panel work when necessary. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical systems and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair findings clearly to customers. Assist in auto estimating processes by providing accurate assessments of repair needs. Ensure all work complies with dealership or industry standards for quality and safety. Skills (Not all are required) Strong mechanical knowledge across various automotive systems including diesel engines, transmissions, powertrains, and electrical systems. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics software and schematics interpretation. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive maintenance tools. Knowledge of ADAS technology, air brake systems, alignment procedures, suspension components, shocks & struts replacement, and tire service. Ability to perform oil changes efficiently while adhering to manufacturer specifications. Familiarity with auto body repair techniques such as welding is a plus. Pay:

$40,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
