Automotive Technician - Automotive Mechanic

Casey's Automotive is looking for a new automotive technician! We are a team-oriented shop that likes to have fun and make a living while doing it. We are open M-F and reserve our weekends for personal time and enjoying life. Pay for the position is negotiable and based on skills, experience, and past performance. Job Responsibilities include the following. Diagnose malfunction(s) and perform repair(s) Communicate with service advisors to obtain needed parts Document work performed and recommended on the repair order. Road test customer vehicles Ensure that customers' cars are kept clean, undamaged, and without changes to comfort, convenience, or audio system settings. Keep the shop area neat and clean and account for all dealership-owned tools at all times. Continuously learn new technical information and techniques Working knowledge of shop equipment (such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.) Strong Automotive knowledge Strong attention to detail. Ability to carry out beginner to expert repairs and scheduled maintenance on different product types Able to work well with others Automotive Repair Brake Repair Diesel Engine Repair is a plus! Tire Service Suspension Automotive Diagnostics Mechanical Knowledge Oil Change General Vehicle Maintenance Maintains sufficient personally-owned tools in good working order Valid Driver's License Most importantly, team-oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
