In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring safety, reliability, and optimal operation. Your mechanical skills and attention to detail will be essential in delivering top-tier automotive service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrains. Execute routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and suspension inspections to keep vehicles running smoothly. Repair and replace components related to ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brakes, and other specialized systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for mechanical repairs while adhering to safety standards. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical and mechanical issues. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicle safety and performance meet dealership standards. Requirements Proven mechanic experience with dealership or independent auto repair shops preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, schematics, and electrical systems. Hands-on experience with diesel engine repair, auto body repair, welding, and auto estimating is a plus. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is advantageous. Ability to work with various hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment safely and efficiently. Mechanical knowledge covering transmissions, oil changes, alignment procedures, suspension systems, tire service, shocks & struts. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on detailed diagnostics and repairs. Customer service skills that promote trust and satisfaction during vehicle servicing.
