We're looking for an experienced Fleet Mechanic who enjoys solving problems, working independently, and keeping a wide variety of equipment operating safely and efficiently. If you like working on everything from diesel trucks to commercial mowers and trailers, this is a position where your skills truly make an impact every day.

What You'll Do:

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on trucks, trailers, commercial mowers, and small-engine equipment Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and engine issues Respond to occasional field repairs when equipment breaks down Maintain repair records and preventative maintenance schedules Manage equipment inventory and maintenance history using Asset Tiger Track inspections, registrations, warranties, and service intervals Perform minor shop and facility maintenance as needed Help keep the shop organized, clean, and operating efficiently Train crew leaders on proper equipment inspections and routine maintenance

We're Looking For Someone Who Has:

5+ years of mechanic experience Experience working on gas, diesel, trailers, and commercial landscaping equipment Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities A valid Virginia driver's license with a clean driving record ASE Certification (preferred) Virginia State Inspection Certification (a huge plus) Ability to lift 75 lbs and work both indoors and outdoors Strong organization and attention to detail Why Join EarthScapes? $25-$30/hour based on experience Higher pay available for exceptional candidates Health insurance Paid Holidays Paid Time Off 401(k) with company contribution Company-wide profit sharing bonus Stable, year-round employment Family-oriented team with nearly 30 years of success If you're looking for a long-term career where your mechanical expertise is valued, we'd love to meet you.
