Position Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing routine maintenance on a wide range of vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.Key Responsibilities:
Perform accurate diagnostics and repair of mechanical and electrical issues on cars and light trucks. Conduct routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, brake jobs, fluid flushes, and inspections. Inspect and identify worn parts and vehicle issues before they become major repairs. Use diagnostic tools and scan equipment to assess vehicle issues efficiently. Perform transmission R&R (Remove and Replace)on both automatic and manual transmission systems. Keep detailed records of all services and repairs performed. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety procedures. Communicate effectively with service advisors and fellow technicians. Stay current with vehicle technologies and repair procedures through ongoing training.Requirements:
Minimum of 1-3 years of professional automotive repair experience (will consider recent graduates with hands-on training). Strong knowledge of automotive systems including brakes, suspension, steering, heating/cooling, engine performance, and electrical. Familiarity with diagnostic tools, repair manuals, and computerized shop systems. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a dealership or high-volume independent repair facility. Strong problem-solving and time management skills.Benefits:
