We are looking to add an additional service advisor to our team. Our current advisors have been with us for over a total 19+ years! Our dealership is rapidly growing and with growth requires additional support.
YOU MUST BE A QUALIFIED EXPERIENCED SERVICE ADVISOR TO APPLY!
We are looking for an individual with a proven track record! The perfect individual will have previous service advising experience as well as have worked in the RV industry! Hitch & Tow or Trailer Hitch/RV Towing/Camping World experience preferred as well. Our advisor positions do not open often and this opportunity will be available for the qualified individual. Here at Valley RV Supercenter, we take pride in building lasting relationships with our customers while helping to maintain and repair their RV.
Requirements:
Experience in the automotive/RV service industry with a proven sales record showing you are a top performer. If you have no experience, please do not apply. We are seeking an individual with experience and time in the industry. Clean Driving Record & the ability to pass a drug test. RESPONSIBILITIES
The Service Advisor is responsible for maximizing customer service satisfaction and retention by minimizing customer service comebacks. He or she is the primary communication link between the customer and the dealership.
DUTIES:
Greet and wait on the customer upon arrival. Answer phones promptly and schedule Service appointments. Interacts with Service customers through good communication and verify complaints or concerns with customers. Perform visual inspection or road test if needed. Documenting all results. Print repair order with complete customer information, address, work and home phone numbers and vehicle information, serial number, make, model and color. Also include complete customer complaints and price estimates. Discuss needed services as detailed on the repair order. Based on time and mileage, recommend any other services needed. Discuss with customers the difference between factory recommendations and what Valley recommends. Discuss with the customers the difference between factory coverage and consumer coverage as applicable to warranty. Advise customers on needed repairs found while vehicle in Service and up sell these needed services. Communicate with customers about updated prices at time of selling these needed services. Inspect and road test work completed as necessary to assure customer satisfaction. Communicate with Service Manager on customer concerns and complaints.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. Valid driver's license and a good driving record. Ability to communicate with customers. Good judgment. Drug Free. Must have previous service advising experience, previous experience is not negotiable. You must have prior proven experience as a service advisor.
WORKING CONDITIONS
The Service Advisor job is a physically demanding position. He/she will stand six to eight hours per day. Will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, paint, and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
