Automotive Technician/Mechanic

McCord's Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our fast-paced service department. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working efficiently under pressure. Technicians must have their own basic mechanic tools, while specialty tools are provided by the employer. Applicants must also possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Diagnose and repair new and used vehicles Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance Complete accurate documentation for all diagnostics, findings, and repairs Maintain a clean and organized workspace Participate in on-site and off-site training Perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, hammering, and wrenching Requirements Previous automotive technician experience Own basic mechanic tools Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to follow instructions and work independently Basic computer skills for repair documentation Strong attention to detail Benefits Paid vacation Paid holidays Sick leave Pension (AMPT) Employee discounts Paid training On-the-job training Additional Information McCord's DCJ is a drug-free workplace.
