American Workforce Group has partnered with a premier, locally owned sawmill to hire a full-time Mechanic . Mechanic:
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical faults across mill and yard equipment. Perform complex engine, hydraulic, and electrical system maintenance tasks. Research technical manuals and schematics to source and order necessary repair parts. Utilize torches and welding rigs to repair vehicle components and shop assets safely. Manage a detailed parts inventory log and keep precise preventative service schedules. Details for

Pay Range:
$28.00
  • $34.
00 / hour (DOE).
Schedule:
Monday
  • Friday | Day Shift (6:00 AM
  • 2:30 PM) OR Swing Shift (2:00 PM
  • 10:30 PM).
Requirements for
Mechanic:
In-depth technical knowledge of industrial engines and complex electrical systems required. Proven hands-on welding and cutting torch experience for equipment repair. Strong administrative ability to retain inventory records and manage service tracking. Self-motivated professional capable of managing a shop with minimal supervision. Exceptional daily attendance record and a strict focus on workplace safety.
