  • Join Our Team We are seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Truck Technician / Diesel Technician to join our growing maintenance team.
This position is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a fleet of heavy-duty trucks and trailers to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with strong diagnostic abilities who takes pride in keeping equipment operating at peak performance. Key Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues on heavy-duty trucks and trailers Perform preventative maintenance services including PM inspections, oil changes, filters, brakes, and suspension work Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, aftertreatment systems, transmissions, driveline components, and electrical systems Conduct DOT inspections and ensure all repairs meet safety and compliance standards Utilize diagnostic software and scan tools to identify faults and repair issues Complete repair orders, document work performed, and maintain accurate maintenance records Work with parts department to identify and order correct replacement components Respond to breakdowns and perform emergency repairs when required Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Assist with identifying recurring equipment issues and recommend solutions to improve reliability Required Qualifications 2+ years' experience working on heavy-duty trucks, diesel engines, or fleet equipment Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and driveline components Ability to perform diagnostics using electronic service tools and software Experience performing DOT inspections and preventative maintenance programs Own basic mechanic tools Valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required) Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in a shop environment Preferred Qualifications OEM training or certifications (Freightliner, International, Cummins, Detroit, Paccar, etc.) Experience with aftertreatment systems (DPF, SCR, DEF) Welding or fabrication experience CDL license Core Competencies Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Attention to detail and quality workmanship Strong work ethic and reliability Safety focused mindset Team collaboration and communication Time management and productivity What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience Overtime opportunities Compensated Training and Certifications pay Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays 401(k) retirement plan Training and career advancement opportunities Stable fleet with modern equipment Join Our Team If you are a motivated Diesel Technician who takes pride in quality repairs and keeping trucks on the road , we encourage you to apply today.
