Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Technician and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle care and repair services. In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Your mechanical expertise and passion for automotive technology will drive your success as you work on everything from basic maintenance to complex repairs on various makes and models, including GM vehicles and diesel engines. Duties Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, and other mechanical systems with precision and efficiency. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machines to execute repairs that meet manufacturer standards. Service automotive systems including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), wheel alignments, and electrical diagnostics to enhance vehicle safety features. Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service bulletins to troubleshoot complex problems effectively. Complete auto estimating processes by assessing repairs needed and providing transparent recommendations for customers. Maintain detailed service records, ensure quality control, and adhere to safety protocols throughout all repair procedures. Skills Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong foundation in automotive diagnostics and repair. Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, powertrain components, transmissions, and diesel engine repair. Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, wheel alignment equipment, welding techniques, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, diagnostic scanners, and automotive service software for accurate repairs. Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about repairs and estimates. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics thoroughly to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
