  • Full-time As a General Automotive Technician at Max Bilt, you will be at the core of our automotive service department, performing a broad range of vehicle testing, inspection, and repair tasks with precision and efficiency.
Your role is pivotal in ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and upholding the company's standards for excellence in every interaction.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Automotive Technician. High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid local state Driver's License with a clean driving record. Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification preferred. Ownership of a comprehensive set of tools and toolbox. Proficiency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently, take responsibility, and be dependable. Proficient in using industry-related software and tools, including diagnostic equipment. Ability to read and understand technical diagrams and schematics. This is an hourly position that typically works Monday through Thursday, with occasional evenings or weekends as required.
Physical Requirements:
Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work extended hours during peak seasons.
Working/Environmental Conditions:
The physical environment of an automotive shop is a busy space filled with the loud sounds of engines, the scent of oil and grease, and the clatter of tools. Vehicles occupy work bays, and bending and twisting may be required. It's a hands-on space where expertise meets mechanical challenges.

Accurate Vehicle Diagnosis and Repair:
Diagnose, repair, inspect, and service vehicles with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring clear communication with service advisors and timely completion of tasks.
Test-Driving and Work Area Maintenance:
Properly test-drive vehicles before and after repairs, maintain a clean work area, and use protective equipment in vehicles.
Comprehensive Repair Order Management:
Manage repair orders comprehensively, including noting additional parts or products used and coordinating with service advisors for parts requirements.
Policy Adherence:
Abide by company policies, including cell phone use restrictions during work hours.
