Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Technician and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle care and repair services. In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will help keep vehicles running smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our service department. We are seeking motivated professionals with a passion for automotive excellence and a commitment to quality workmanship. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, powertrain components, and diesel engines. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems effectively. Repair or replace vehicle parts such as belts, hoses, brakes, suspension components, and power tools.. Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating for repairs, and communicate repair needs clearly with customers. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while adhering to safety standards and quality protocols. Requirements Proven dealership experience or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair. Solid mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmissions, automotive electrical systems, and diesel engines. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive diagnostic software. Experience working with GM vehicles or similar makes is preferred but not required. Ability to read schematics and interpret technical manuals accurately for troubleshooting purposes. Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain repairs clearly and professionally. Knowledge of auto estimating procedures and familiarity with ADAS calibration and alignment techniques. Valid mechanic license or certification is highly desirable; ongoing training in automotive technology is encouraged. Pay:
$28.82 - $40.00 per hour
