Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as an Experienced Auto Technician and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle repair and maintenance services. In this role, you will leverage your extensive mechanical expertise to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. We are seeking motivated professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about automotive excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse vehicle systems, including complex electrical wiring, some diesel work, mostly domestic and Asian vehicles, very few German. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various vehicle components, including engines, powertrains, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, and steering. Conduct specialized repairs such as diesel engine overhaul, ADAS calibration, wheel alignment, and auto body repairs when necessary. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical problems efficiently. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques to complete repairs safely and effectively. Follow manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols during all maintenance procedures to ensure quality workmanship. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Requirements Proven experience as an auto technician with dealership or similar automotive repair shop background. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive engine systems, powertrain components, and electrical wiring diagrams. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics equipment and software. Ability to perform complex repairs on both gasoline and diesel engines with precision. Familiarity with ADAS technology calibration and alignment procedures is highly desirable. Proficiency in interpreting schematics for electrical systems and vehicle wiring diagrams. Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and working in various positions for extended periods. Knowledge of GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus; certification from recognized automotive programs is preferred.
