Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Trailer Mechanic to join our company. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining company owned trailers and some customer work. Duties Perform comprehensive inspections of trailers, including brakes, suspensions, hydraulics, and electrical systems. Complete sidewall repair and replacements. Perform roof and leak repairs. Weld and fabricate as needed. Use power tools, hand tools. Mount and dismount trailer tires. Inspect trailers for safety and DOT compliance. Repair or replace trailers doors, flooring, lighting, suspension and brake components. Qualifications Previous trailer mechanic experience preferred Basic diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Valid driver's license with CDL and clean MVR Ability to lift heavy parts and work in a shop environment
