Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated General Mechanic with a Class A or Class B CDL to join our team. This Hybrid Mechanic and CDL driver opportunity offers a mix of shop work and on-site driving. Get out of the shop and on to job sites! The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial mechanics and be proficient in troubleshooting and repairing various mechanical systems. This role requires a hands-on approach to maintenance and repair, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment. Utilize tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and hydraulic systems to diagnose mechanical issues. Analyze schematics to understand the layout of electrical systems and mechanical components. Operate scissor lifts safely to access elevated work areas for repairs. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction with repairs. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance overall operational efficiency. Requirements Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical components. Familiarity with tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and scissor lifts. Class A or Class B CDL required. Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining safety standards in the workplace.
