We're seeking an experienced Automotive Master Technician / Mechanic to join our dynamic team. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on powertrains, transmissions, steering, suspension, brakes, and alignments to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools to execute repairs efficiently. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex systems such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and electronic control modules. Repair or replace components related to diesel engines, electrical systems, and other vehicle subsystems while adhering to safety standards. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Assist in auto estimating procedures by accurately assessing repair needs and parts requirements for efficient workflow. Requirements Proven dealership mechanical reconditioning or automotive service technician experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. Extensive mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including powertrains, transmissions, electrical systems, and diesel engines. Proficiency with schematics interpretation, automotive electrical systems, ADAS technology, and alignment procedures. Hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service. Valid mechanic certification or equivalent experience; ASE certifications are highly desirable. Familiarity with auto estimating software and experience working on GM vehicles is a plus.
