Automotive Technician

Kocourek Imports is in need of an Automotive Technician. As a technician, you will be responsible for quick but thorough basic preventative maintenance.

Major activities include:

Oil change services Additive services Fluid exchange services Engine/cabin air filter service Completing Vehicle Inspection process. Alignments Tires Brakes Maintaining a clean and safe work place environment As a Kocourek Technician, you will diagnose and repair automotive systems.

Major activities include:

Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems. Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees on an as-required basis. Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur Maintain an organized and neat bay Job Requirements Previous automotive service technician-2 years preferred Certifications a plus but not required A high level of motivation and demonstrated ability to learn and succeed Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information Proven knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations Professional appearance Valid driver's license Submit to and successfully complete MVR and pre-employment drug test What We Offer Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) savings plan Growth opportunities Paid training Employee vehicle purchase plans Family owned and operated Long term job security Discounts on products and services Industry-leading, top-level pay for master mechanics
