Oil Lube Technician

Northside Automotive Dealerships have positions available for an experienced and thorough Oil & Lube Technician for our service department. We are looking for a highly organized professional who takes pride in his or her work.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 1 year of work experience Valid vehicle operators license

Other Skills and Qualifications:

Must be reliable. Must be team oriented and maintain a positive attitude. Maintain a professional attitude and appearance. State inspection is a plus but not required.

Oil & Lube Technician Primary Responsibilities:

Draining the oil from a vehicle and replacing it to manufacturer specifications Topping off other fluids, including power steering and windshield wiper fluid Inspecting the engine block and underbody for leaks and potential issues and consulting with technicians to address vehicle issue Rotate and reprogram tires, checking pressure and filling with air as needed to manufacturer specifications Installing various parts such as air filters, oil filters, windshield wipers, batteries and simple bulbs Lubricating steering and suspension
