Job Title:
Engineering Integration Technician Job Description We are seeking a talented integration technician to support the integration and installation of payloads. This role is with an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of Unmanned Systems, and we are looking for innovative individuals to join a fast-paced, maker culture that proudly provides products and services to support the American Warfighter. The position reports to the Engineering department. Responsibilities Integrate mechanical, electrical, and electronic components on UAS platforms. Install and configure mission payloads including EO/IR, LiDAR, and RF. Perform system checkouts, continuity tests, and troubleshooting. Maintain accurate build records and adhere to safety, ESD, and FOD procedures. Essential Skills Experience with UAS/robotics integration. Ability to read engineering drawings and wiring diagrams. Skilled with hand tools, measurement devices, and diagnostic equipment. Understanding of RF, sensors, or small aircraft systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications Associate degree in engineering technology, aerospace, electronics, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience. 2 years of experience in aerospace, defense, automotive, robotics, or similar technical fields preferred. Familiarity with telemetry, data links, or flight operations. IPC or aerospace workmanship certifications. Work Environment The role is onsite in Madison, reporting to the VP of Engineering. Work hours are from 7 AM to 3 PM. The environment is dynamic and demands precision and adherence to safety protocols. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, AL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
