Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Avionics Technician, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of aircraft systems. You will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing complex electronic systems on aircraft, supporting both military and commercial operations. Duties may include:
Perform repairs and maintenance on electronic components, including circuit boards, sensors, displays, and communication systems Conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying issues affecting avionics performance Use precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, ohmmeters, ammeters, and multimeters to ensure accuracy during inspections Fabricate or modify components using sheet metal fabrication techniques, welding, soldering, and heavy lifting when necessary Calibrate equipment and systems in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) and AS9100 quality standards Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work performed and track maintenance history Support aircraft assembly or refurbishment projects by working with airframe structures and electrical systems Perform equipment repair using power tools, hand tools, and specialized tools such as coordinate measuring machines (CMM) or laser measurement devices Ensure compliance with aviation safety protocols by adhering to industry standards for aircraft maintenance and vehicle/military equipment repair Qualifications Proven experience in avionics maintenance or aircraft/mechanical repair roles with a strong electrical background Knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, CAD/CAM software like CATIA or AutoCAD is highly desirable Familiarity with FAA regulations (Federal Aviation Regulations) related to aircraft maintenance and aviation safety standards (e.g., AS9100) Mechanical knowledge including sheet metal fabrication, welding, soldering, and use of hand tools such as calipers and micrometers Experience working with military or commercial aircraft systems is a plus Ability to perform precise measurements using micrometers, calipers, ohmmeters, ammeters, and other precision instruments Strong troubleshooting skills with expertise in root cause analysis of complex electronic issues Physical capability for heavy lifting and working in confined or elevated spaces; comfort operating power tools and equipment repair tools Excellent documentation skills for maintenance logs using CMMS software; attention to detail is essential Join us to advance your career in aviation technology!
