Our client, a leader in the aerospace industry, is seeking a skilled Avionics Installer to join their dynamic team. This role presents a respanable opportunity for experienced avionics professionals passionate about innovation and technology in a thriving aviation environment. In this position, youd be integral to executing advanced avionics installations and contributing to the enhancement of advanced aircraft systems.Responsibilities:
Interpret complex wiring diagrams, aircraft blueprints, and schematics with precision. Wire, install, test, and verify the operation of avionics equipment and accessories. Troubleshoot and resolve electronics failures using hand tools and technical documents. Fabricate or modify instrument panels and other hardware for avionics systems. Adhere to FAA Repair Station Manual and FAA Regulations during installations. Exercise sound judgment and expertise in job sequencing to maximize quality and efficiency. Maintain a safe and ethical work environment. Handle equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds and work in shop/hangar environments.Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience in a general aviation aircraft modification/completion shop. Experience with Part 91/135 corporate/private aircraft. Proficiency in executing complex avionics installations with minimal oversight. Ability to plan and execute avionics installation projects efficiently. Strong troubleshooting skills and customer service orientation. Ability to work collaboratively and mentor team members. Proficiency in MS Office and Corridor software. Must pass FAA-required drug test and background check. High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or aviation electronics schooling preferred.Preferred:
AET Certificate and/or FAA Mechanic/Repairman's Certificate.Benefits & Perks:
