  • Monday-Friday (10-hour days, 6 days/week) | Must be flexible for 1st or 2nd shift

  • $35.00-$50.00 per hour

  • Structures Mechanic
  • to support critical aircraft maintenance and modification programs. In this hands-on role, you'll work on structural components that are essential to aircraft safety, performance, and longevity. Your precision, craftsmanship, and technical expertise will directly contribute to keeping aircraft mission-ready and operating at peak performance.
  • What You'll Do
  • Take on complex, high-impact work in a fast-paced maintenance environment: + Perform close-tolerance drilling, reaming, removal, and installation on critical structural components + Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, technical orders, and repair specifications + Execute structural modifications and repairs on aircraft sheet metal and support structures + Utilize specialized tools including rivet guns, torque wrenches, micrometers, and cable tensiometers + Conduct troubleshooting and replacement of mechanical components + Access and update aircraft data systems, initiating parts and discrepancy requests as needed + Ensure all work complies with safety protocols, including Lock Out/Tag Out procedures + Work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and handle physical demands including lifting up to 35 lbs + Collaborate with cross-functional teams (avionics, general mechanics, electronics) to meet production and schedule goals + Maintain required certifications, licenses, and compliance standards •What You Bring•
Required Qualifications:
  • + High school diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of education and experience) + 5+ years of experience working with non-porous metals (aluminum, titanium, stainless steel) + 5+ years of experience interpreting schematics, assembly drawings, and specifications + 5+ years of hands-on experience with structural tools (drills, countersinks, rivet guns, etc.
) + Experience performing heavy structural work (doublers, stringers, webs, seat tracks, etc.) + Ability to work variable shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • + Previous experience with aerospace programs + Background in heavy aircraft maintenance + Experience on the 787 platform + A&P Certification + Experience with composite aircraft structures + Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, and powered lift equipment

  • Pay Details:
  • $35.
