Maintenance Supervisor Position Overview Haggan Aviation is seeking an experienced Avionics Mechanic to support avionics maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation activities within our FAA Part 145 Repair Station. This position requires a strong technical foundation, disciplined documentation practices, and the ability to execute work efficiently in a fast-paced MRO environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in aircraft avionics systems, wiring, test equipment, and technical data, while maintaining clear communication with maintenance, quality, and customer-facing teams. Key Responsibilities Perform avionics line maintenance, troubleshooting, and installations in accordance with approved data and company procedures Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and maintenance manuals to properly accomplish assigned tasks Research technical data, identify required parts, and support parts ordering as needed Utilize avionics test equipment and inspection tools to verify system performance and compliance Accurately document maintenance actions, discrepancies, and corrective actions in work orders and maintenance records Communicate job status, findings, and labor requirements with the Maintenance Supervisor and other assigned personnel Ensure all avionics repairs and installations are accomplished within the authority of the repair station and inspected by Quality Assurance when required Properly handle, protect, and preserve aircraft parts and components throughout the maintenance process Report schedule risks or delays promptly to the Maintenance Supervisor Support customer interaction and communication as required during maintenance events Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including proper tool control Work overtime as required to meet project and operational commitments Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall shop operations Required Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Avionics or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience Minimum 5-7 years of avionics experience in corporate or business aviation Strong working knowledge of aircraft avionics systems and installations Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and apply wiring diagrams and maintenance manuals Proficiency with avionics test equipment and inspection tools Learjet experience required Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Ability to pass FAA-required drug and alcohol screening and random testing Ability to complete and pass all internal training and manual examinations Qualifications FAA Airframe (Airframe) certificate a minimum Experience working in a Part 145 repair station environment Familiarity with RVSM & Pitot Static systems and requirements Experience supporting customer-facing avionics maintenance events Training & Compliance Requirements Successful completion of Repair Station Manual, Quality Control Manual, and Training Manual examinations Successful completion of FAA FAR and RVSM training as required by Haggan Aviation Ongoing participation in recurrent and regulatory training programs Why Haggan Aviation Haggan Aviation is an established FAA-certificated Repair Station serving the business aviation community.
