Job Description

Johnson Service Group is looking for contract Sr. Mass Properties Engineer work in Englewood, CO. Rate is $65.00-$75.00
DOE Sr Mass Properties Engineer Duties:
. You will generate mass properties databases to track weight and CG estimates, and support aircraft weighing, as well as ensuring that the right mass properties reporting is communicated across the team and to external customer and suppliers in an effective and timely manner.

Must-haves:
Thorough knowledge of engineering principles and practices Deep knowledge of SAWE Recommended Practices RP-7 and RP-8 Experience with aircraft weighing and associated forms and charts Experience with conceptual level design support and parametric modeling Experience building mass properties estimates from CAD data Author for weight and balance reports Experience working in multi-disciplinary design & development teams
Preferred:
Automated Weight and Balance System (AWBS) training within the previous three years. Familiarity with Commercial Derivative Aircraft (CDA) for military programs. Experience with Dassualt 3DX and/or Solidworks. Knowledge of industry standard aerospace principles, to include, but not limited to parametric design, model-based definition, fundamentals of flight mechanics Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, US Department of Defense and/or
