Avionics Technician III

Description In this role, you will install, inspect, test, adjust, and repair avionics equipment and systems while performing equipment setup and maintenance activities. You will use precision measurement tools to fabricate fixtures for use, including non-flight parts with standard alloys and simple geometry, and perform precision cleaning and chemistry processes. Adhering to general best shop practices, including PPE and shop safety requirements, you will demonstrate correct packaging and handling requirements for all hardware. Additionally, you will apply 5S, FOD, and ESD awareness in your daily tasks, collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines, and document and report any issues or discrepancies found during inspections and tests.
