Job Description:

Overview Seeking a Director of Avionics to lead avionics operations, installations, and team performance across corporate aircraft programs. This role requires a strong mix of leadership, technical expertise, and hands-on involvement to ensure high-quality installations and efficient operations. Key Responsibilities Oversee all avionics installation and integration projects Lead, manage, and develop avionics teams (10+ technicians and leads) Remain hands-on as needed to support installs and troubleshooting Ensure all work meets FAA regulations and manufacturer specifications Drive quality, efficiency, and on-time project completion Troubleshoot complex avionics issues and guide teams to resolution Implement process improvements and best practices Coordinate with leadership, engineering, and maintenance teams Requirements 10+ years of avionics installation experience on corporate aircraft Strong working knowledge of GARMIN avionics systems (hands-on experience required) Proven leadership experience managing teams of 10+ Ability to lead while staying engaged on the floor Aircraft Experience Preferred Falcon Jet, Gulfstream, Citation Bombardier, Learjet, Challenger, Global Express Hawker, Beechcraft, Embraer Certifications & Background Factory avionics certifications preferred A&P License a plus Stable work history (1+ year at each position) Skills & Knowledge Strong understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) Ability to interpret technical manuals and engineering data Excellent communication and leadership skills Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving ability Now (Job and company information not to be copied, shared, scraped, or otherwise disseminated/distributed without explicit consent of ) Now Job Info Location Sanford, Florida, USA Type Permanent Company Details HSGI, Inc.
