Position
Avionic Installer (GA / Turboprop Aircraft)
The Sr. Avionic Installer is responsible for installing, modifying, and troubleshooting aircraft avionics systems in a maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) environment. This role focuses on general aviation and turboprop aircraft, requiring strong experience with avionics installations, wiring, and integration of systems, including Garmin platforms.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Install, modify, and troubleshoot aircraft avionics systems and components
Perform wiring, harness fabrication, termination, and routing
Install avionics equipment including radios, navigation systems, GPS, and displays
Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and functional checks
Ensure all installations meet FAA regulations and company standards
Document work performed accurately and in a timely manner
Work independently or as part of a team in a production or MRO environment
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area all safety procedures and company guidelines
Other duties as assigned

Summary of Education, Experience & Certification
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 4+ years of avionics installation experience required
Experience with GARMIN avionics systems required
Experience in an MRO or aircraft modification environment preferred
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong experience installing and troubleshooting avionics systems
Experience with Garmin systems (G1000, G3000, or similar platforms)
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical documentation
Experience with wire routing, termination, crimping, and harness fabrication
Strong knowledge of aircraft electrical systems
Ability to perform system testing and troubleshooting
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced MRO or production environment
Must provide own tools
Ability to lift, stand, and work in various physical positions throughout the shift
