Job Description

Avionics Technician
III & IV
(2 Hagerstown, MD | 11-Month Contract to hire)
Avionics Technician III:
Up to $42/hr (depends on years of experinece)
Avionics Technician IV:
Up to $48/hr (depends on years of experinece) Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder Perform avionics maintenance, installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repair in accordance with FCC, FAA, and company regulations Work with avionics components, wiring systems, test equipment, tools, and technical manuals Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, diagrams, and wiring drawings Perform wiring installation, wiring repair, soldering, crimping, and avionics integration work Must have own tools in good working condition Exposure to outdoor environments, loud noise, hazardous materials, and aviation operations Safety-sensitive position involving aircraft systems and equipment
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Strong avionics installation and wiring experience Experience with soldering, crimping, wiring repair, and routing wires from technical drawings High School Diploma or GED required
Level III:
Typically requires 5+ years of relevant avionics experience
Level IV:
Typically requires 10+ years of relevant avionics experience
PREFERRED
FCC / FCC GROL familiarity Experience with oscilloscopes, spectrometers, and pitot static equipment Aerospace & Defense, DoD, or Military background preferred Level IV candidates should have ability to mentor and guide junior technicians
Pay:
$30.00 - $48.00 per hour
