147853Job Description:
The Product Repair/Modification Technician performs assembly, disassembly, modification, and troubleshooting of aerospace systems and components to ensure operational readiness and compliance with regulatory standards. This role supports maintenance and repair activities on military aircraft, including validation testing and documentation of work performed. The technician works under general direction while maintaining adherence to established procedures and quality requirements. The position requires flexibility to work multiple shifts and the ability to support both domestic and international assignments.Job Requirements:

$38.07 - $50.99/hour- Mechanics, Avionics, and Structures Positions Available! Education & Job Requirements
- Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g., High School Diploma or GED equivalent) and typically 4 or more years of related work experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational school/Associate's degree + 2 years of related work experience, Bachelor's degree, etc.).
- A minimum of 3 years of experience with military aircraft maintenance.
- Must have thorough knowledge of aircraft tools, including test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, and sheet metal brakes and shears.
- Must be willing to work variable shifts.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen. Professional Attributes
- Ability to work under general direction.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. Preferred Skills
- Experience with MH-139 maintenance and/or modifications.
- Experience with rotorcraft maintenance.
- Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License, current or previously held.
- General mechanic experience. Job Duties & Functions
- Assemble, disassemble, and modify aerospace systems and components.
- Oversee assembly, disassembly, and overhaul activities.
- Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
- Troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate faults and repair components.
- Perform validation and verification testing of systems and components.
- Document procedures and processes to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Inspect components and verify repairs meet flightworthiness standards.
- Support maintenance, repair, and modification operations across multiple disciplines, including structures, avionics, and mechanical systems. Physical Requirements & Environment
- Ability to work all shifts, including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.
- Ability to work onsite in a military installation environment.
