Chipton-Ross is seeking 15 Product Repair/Mod Tech C for a contract opportunity in Malmstrom

AFB, MT. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

(REQUIRED

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

):

• Minimum of 3 years' experience with Military aircraft maintenance.
• Must have thorough knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers.
• Must be willing to work variable shifts.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Mechanic, Avionics & Structures positions available
• Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
• Oversees assembly, disassembly or overhaul.
• Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
• Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
• Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components.
• Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results).
• Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements.
• Works under general direction.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

(DESIRED

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

):

• Experience with MH-139 maintenance and/or modifications.
• Experience with rotorcraft maintenance.
• Hold or held an Airframe and Power plant (A&P) License.
• General Mechanic experience desirable.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

• Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.

g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).

WORK HOURS

• Full-Time
• Must be able to work all shifts 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

1st shift to start.

ADDITIONAL

• Candidate must hold an active secret clearance.
