Draken offers: Competitive pay and benefits, first-day medical coverage, company-matched 401(k) plan after 60 days, and PTOOVERVIEW/DUTIES/DESCRIPTIONPerform/Supervise Avionics work on former military fighter aircraft equipped with 3rd and 4th generation Avionics technology, e.g. 1553 MUX systems, VHF/UHF, advanced RADAR systems, multiple offensive/defensive systems, as well as civilian aviation platforms such as Garmin, Avidyne, etc.

Accurately interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, wiring diagrams, system schematics, drawings, engineering orders, and other documents from both the manufacturers and company.

Maintain storage management systems as well as captive carry training weapons and weapons release systems.

Integrate/modernize new technologies into legacy aircraft...
TCAS, EFIS, ECM
Pods, EO sensors, etc.

Ability to travel on TDY scheduleComplete other duties as assigned.

QualificationsHigh School/GEDFighter Jet Experience preferredAt least 5 years of related Avionics Technician experienceMust be able to travel on TDY assignmentsMust be able to work various shiftsMust have an in-depth working knowledge of aircraft safety directives, aircraft/vehicle movement, flight line operations, aircraft technical orders/job guides/publications (read, interpret, follow and comprehend schematics, diagrams, drawings and technical ordersMust have a working knowledge of computers (input/extract data) and some computer softwareObtain/maintain aircraft/equipment Red X/IPI certificationObtain/maintain security clearanceMust meet ITAR compliance requirements

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK
ENVIRONMENTRegularly works in the hangar or on the flight line.

Extensive sitting to climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands.

Must be able to climb stairs, ramps, ladders and work stands.

Must be able to crouch, crawl, grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee and reach above/below shoulders
