Bench Technician / Avionics Technician | $20-$29/hr We are seeking a detail-oriented Bench Technician / Avionics Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining FAA-related electronic components and equipment at the component level. This position is ideal for a technician with strong electrical troubleshooting skills, experience with electronic diagnostics, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced technical environment. If you have a passion for electronics repair, avionics systems, and problem-solving, we'd love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and diagnose electronic failures down to the component level on printed circuit boards (PCBs) Perform repair, maintenance, and testing of FAA-related electronic equipment according to established procedures Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, analog, and digital system issues Use hand tools, soldering equipment, and specialized diagnostic tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble components Work with capacitors, resistors, transistors, power supplies, and other electronic components Utilize oscilloscopes, analog meters, and digital multimeters for troubleshooting and diagnostics Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals Test repaired equipment to verify proper performance and functionality Accurately document all repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance activities Work independently while maintaining quality and compliance standards Qualifications Strong electrical troubleshooting knowledge and hands-on repair experience Ability to troubleshoot failures down to the component level Understanding of logic theory and electronic circuitry Experience using oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, power supplies, and soldering equipment Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and repair documentation Familiarity with low voltage systems and basic computer networking concepts Strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Avionics, electronics repair, military electronics, or FAA component experience is highly preferred
Compensation & Benefits Pay:
$20.00-$29.00 per hour
