Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an Avionics Technician and become a vital part of the aviation industry's cutting-edge maintenance and repair operations. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex avionics systems that ensure aircraft safety, reliability, and compliance with industry standards. Your expertise will help keep aircraft operating at peak performance while adhering to strict regulatory requirements. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced technology in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment dedicated to excellence in aviation maintenance. Responsibilities Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair avionics systems using schematics, wiring diagrams, and CAD models such as CATIA and AutoCAD. Conduct root cause analysis on electrical and electronic system failures to identify underlying issues efficiently. Perform maintenance and repairs on aircraft electrical and avionics equipment in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) and industry standards like AS9100. Use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, ohmmeters, ammeters, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify component specifications. Fabricate or modify sheet metal components and wiring harnesses utilizing hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and heavy lifting techniques. Interpret schematics and technical manuals related to aircraft airframes, avionics systems, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Maintain detailed records of all repairs and inspections within Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Collaborate with team members on assembly processes for aircraft components or equipment repair projects while ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
