C130 Avionics Installer
Job Description:
The avionics installer is responsible for installing, testing, troubleshooting and maintaining avionics systems on aircraft. This includes communication, navigation, and instrument systems. The installer must have a thorough understanding of avionics components and their functions, as well as knowledge of electrical and electronic principles. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, have strong problem-solving skills, and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. They must also adhere to safety regulations and industry standards. Avionics Installer Duties Install and test avionics systems on various aircraft. Read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate installation. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with avionics systems. Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to complete installations. Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and industry standards. Maintain accurate records of work performed. Perform regular maintenance and repairs on avionics systems. Stay current on advancements in avionics technology. Entry level with 2+ years encouraged to apply!
