Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Avionics Installer to support maintenance operations on corporate jet and turboprop aircraft. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, modifying, testing, and maintaining aircraft avionics systems and electrical components in accordance with company policies, FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, wiring manuals, and approved maintenance documentation.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Ability to install, route, terminate, and build harnesses Pitot Static Testing, working with IFR 4000/6000, multimeters, etc. Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, modify, install, and maintain aircraft avionics and electrical systems Diagnose and resolve complex discrepancies involving communication, navigation, autopilot, flight control, instrument, and electrical systems Perform system operational checks, fault isolation, and functional testing Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, technical drawings, and approved maintenance manuals Remove and replace avionics components, LRUs, wiring harnesses, connectors, antennas, and related systems Perform wiring repairs, continuity checks, pin-to-pin testing, and electrical troubleshooting Ensure all work is completed in accordance with approved maintenance procedures and FAA regulations Accurately document all work performed and sign off completed tasks Support modifications, upgrades, and installations of avionics packages and aircraft systems Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Use personal tools that meet company shadowing and accountability requirements
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of current avionics troubleshooting and aircraft electrical maintenance experience Recent hands-on experience with corporate jets and/or turboprop aircraft, including: Citation King Air Air Tractor Hawker Pilatus Learjet Strong experience reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics, and maintenance manuals Experience with fault isolation and troubleshooting complex avionics systems FAA A&P License preferred but not required (if you want this, I can adjust based on the role) Must provide own tools (tools must be shadowed) High school diploma or equivalent required
Pay & Schedule:
Hourly pay based on experience Per diem split available for qualified candidates Monday-Friday | 5x8 schedule 6-month contract-to-hire

$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
