Avionics Technician Job Description The Avionics Technician is responsible for modifications on Dash-8 aircraft, ensuring the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electronic systems are conducted efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and perform both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft in a high-quality manner. Install, troubleshoot, test, and repair instruments, components, and assemblies using various tools such as circuit testers, oscilloscopes, and voltmeters. Inspect, maintain, and install electronic systems such as navigational systems, radar technology, radio communication systems, flight control tools, and other avionics systems. Perform operational and functional checks on aircraft electrical systems and equipment. Install, route, upgrade, and repair wire harnesses. Install avionics equipment per engineering drawings while adhering to wiring standards. Essential Skills Minimum of 4 years of avionics experience. Strong troubleshooting skills. Experience in wire harness fabrication and installation. Eligibility for Secret clearance. Must have own tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications A&P license preferred; A license minimum required. Employees work off a production schedule with specified timeframes for completing tasks. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00am

• 4:00pm, with a one-hour lunch break from 12:00pm
• 1:00pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Bridgewater, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00
