In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and assembling bicycles with precision and enthusiasm. Your expertise will ensure every bike is safe, reliable, and ready to hit the road or trail. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive bicycle repairs including brake adjustments, gear tuning, suspension servicing, and wheel truing to ensure optimal performance Assemble new bicycles from parts, following manufacturer specifications and safety standards Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to disassemble, repair, and reassemble bikes with accuracy Conduct routine maintenance such as tire replacements, chain repairs, and drivetrain adjustments to keep bikes in top condition Provide expert advice to customers on bike maintenance, accessories, and proper fit to enhance their riding experience Maintain a clean and organized work area while managing multiple repair tickets simultaneously Assist in retail sales by demonstrating product features and promoting cycling accessories or upgrades when appropriate Requirements Proven service technician experience with bicycles or similar mechanical equipment Strong mechanical knowledge including familiarity with suspension systems, brake repair, assembly techniques, and vehicle maintenance principles Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialized cycling equipment Ability to lift heavy bikes or parts safely during repairs or inventory management Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly Retail math skills for processing sales transactions accurately Passion for cycling and a desire to share that enthusiasm with customers Prior mechanic experience preferred; certification in bicycle repair or related fields is a plus but not required Join us in creating a positive impact on our community by ensuring every cyclist rides safely and confidently.
