Lead E-Bike Technician / Service Manager Pedego Electric Bikes Amelia Island - Fernandina Beach, FL Pedego Amelia Island is seeking an experienced, customer-focused Lead E-Bike Technician to oversee service operations for one of Florida's premier electric bike shops. This is an opportunity to help build and grow a service department while working with premium electric bicycles, rentals, tours, and a growing customer base. What You'll Do Diagnose and repair electric bicycles from Pedego and other leading brands Perform tune-ups, assemblies, safety inspections, and preventative maintenance Build and prepare new bikes for sale Process warranty claims and warranty repairs Manage service scheduling and workflow Maintain service records and parts inventory Support rental fleet maintenance and readiness Provide exceptional customer service and technical advice Help develop efficient service procedures as the business grows Qualifications Professional bicycle mechanic experience required Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills Experience with e-bike systems preferred Ability to diagnose electrical and drivetrain issues Organized, self-motivated, and dependable Comfortable interacting directly with customers Ability to lift and maneuver bicycles up to 75 pounds Valid driver's license Compensation Starting pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour , based on experience Performance-based production bonus program Employee discounts Opportunity for advancement as the service department expands Why Join Us?
