With a focus on everything bicycle, we cater to all types of cyclists and people wishing to become cyclists. We have a veteran staff well versed in all aspects of cycling and bicycle maintenance and repair. George's Cycles is looking for a positive, self-motivated, team focused individual with a willingness to help where needed. Communication and customer service skills are a core focus for our shop and a driving force for our success. We are seeking individuals that have extensive knowledge of bicycle mechanics, and/or a willingness to learn more in-depth services and procedures. We service all makes, models, and styles, including e-bikes, trikes, and the occasional unicycle. We have an organized service shop utilizing Lightspeed POS to manage our workflow. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Detailed and extensive knowledge of bicycles of all types, parts, tools, service techniques and parts compatibility Ability to inspect bikes through testing, and determine the adequate repairs needed Attention to detail, efficiency, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment Ability to work in a fast paced work environment as part of a team Strong customer service and communication skills Strong problem solving abilities Perform basic maintenance on all types of bikes Preferred Qualifications A minimum of 1-3 year's previous experience working in the service department in the cycling industry Extensive knowledge of high end mountain and road bikes, as well as the tools required to service such bikes Positive attitude and self-motivated Ability to follow processes to completion Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
Pay:
$17.00 - $21.00 per hour
