In this energetic role, you'll assist customers with bike rentals, sales, and maintenance, ensuring every rider leaves confident and satisfied. Whether helping a beginner select their first bike or fine-tuning a seasoned cyclist's gear, your expertise will inspire confidence and promote a love of cycling. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to blend mechanical skills with retail sales in a lively, outdoor-focused environment. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, listen to their needs, and recommend bikes, accessories, or rental options tailored to their riding style and experience level Conduct detailed inspections of bikes for safety and performance, addressing issues such as suspension problems or mechanical failures with precision Assist customers with retail sales transactions, including processing payments accurately and managing retail math calculations Prepare bikes for rentals by assembling new units, adjusting components for fit, and ensuring all equipment is in excellent condition before customer use Lift heavy bikes or equipment safely during maintenance or setup tasks while adhering to safety protocols Qualifications Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Customer service experience with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to diverse audiences Retail sales skills including retail math for processing transactions accurately Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during repairs or customer interactions Passion for cycling with a good understanding of cycling equipment and accessories Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us in creating an inspiring space where cycling enthusiasts of all levels feel welcomed.
