We are seeking an experienced and passionate Bike Shop Mechanic to oversee our service department and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of bicycle mechanics, and a commitment to providing outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficient workflow and timely repairs. Oversee inventory management for repair parts and tools, ensuring availability and organization. Develop and implement service policies and procedures to enhance productivity and quality. Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in bicycle repair and maintenance. Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with company policies.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a bike mechanic or in a similar role within a bike shop. Excellent customer service and communication abilities. Knowledge of various bicycle brands and models, including repair techniques and tools. Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues efficiently. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Basic computer skills for scheduling and inventory management. Passion for cycling and a commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle.
