EBike Connections is a fast-growing electric mobility shop specializing in e-bikes and electric scooters. As an authorized dealer for Segway scooters, we provide professional-grade service backed by direct manufacturer support and resources. We are looking for a skilled and motivated eBike / Bicycle Technician to lead and grow our scooter service department.

, a growing eBike and bicycle shop looking for a reliable, experienced technician to join our team. As an authorized dealer and service provider for Aventon, Velotric, Urtopia, and Segway eBikes , we are looking for a technician who is comfortable working across a wide range of mechanical and electrical systems.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Perform routine service such as tire/tube replacement, brake adjustments, and drivetrain tuning.
• Handle hydraulic brake bleeds, pad replacement, and system troubleshooting
• Adjust and repair shifting systems, derailleurs, and hanger alignment
• Install and service headsets, bottom brackets, forks, and other core components
• True wheels and replace spokes as needed
• Work on eBike systems and knowledge of motors, controllers, wiring harnesses, displays, and batteries.
• Communicate repair needs and timelines clearly with customers
• Help maintain an organized, efficient service area

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• At least 1 year of bike shop experience required
• Strong mechanical knowledge of bicycles and components
• Working knowledge of eBike systems (motor wattage, battery specs, electrical components)
• Ability to troubleshoot issues independently
• Comfortable working on a wide range of bikes, including lower-end and direct-to-consumer brands
• Attention to detail and pride in clean, safe builds
• Reliable, punctual, and able to manage workload without constant supervision

Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Experience working with electric scooters, e-bikes, or similar equipment
• Basic understanding of electrical systems (batteries, controllers, wiring)
• Experience using diagnostic tools such as multimeters
• Proficiency with hand tools and repair processes
• Ability to manage time and handle multiple repair jobs simultaneously
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to move or handle merchandise throughout the store generally weighing up to 60 pounds. Ability to lift product overhead generally weighing up to 60 pounds.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for extensive time periods; while occasionally walking, kneeling, reaching, or sitting.
• Ability to work weekends, and varied weekly hours/days as business dictates.
