Full-Time Join Our Team Criterion General, Inc. is seeking a dependable and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for performing general maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance on commercial facilities. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can work independently, and is committed to providing quality service. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain access to government facilities. Essential Responsibilities Perform general building maintenance and repairs. Complete preventative maintenance tasks on facility systems and equipment. Repair and maintain doors, hardware, drywall, flooring, ceilings, and other building components. Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting repairs. Troubleshoot maintenance issues and identify appropriate solutions. Respond to service requests in a timely and professional manner. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Accurately document completed work and communicate maintenance needs. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Qualifications Previous maintenance, facilities, construction, or handyman experience preferred. General knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and building maintenance. Ability to safely operate hand and power tools. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Government Access Requirement Because this position supports projects at secure facilities, candidates must be able to obtain and maintain government site access. This includes successfully completing any required background screenings and meeting all government security requirements. Physical Requirements Lift up to 75 pounds. Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions. Safely perform physical tasks associated with building maintenance. Why Join Criterion General?
