Property Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician Apex Property Management, LLC Commercial Property Management • Anchorage, Wasilla & Palmer, AK We're a commercial property management company serving the Mat-Su Valley and Anchorage, with a portfolio of medical, retail, and office buildings. We're looking for a reliable, personable maintenance technician who takes pride in keeping properties in top shape — and treats tenants and visitors with genuine care and professionalism. What you'll do Perform routine preventive maintenance across all properties Handle work orders for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs Conduct regular property inspections and safety checks Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants Coordinate with contractors and vendors as needed Maintain clean, professional common areas and building exteriors Document work completed using our maintenance tracking system Rotating on-call schedule for emergency response What we're looking for 2+ years of commercial or multi-property maintenance experience Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems Friendly, professional demeanor — our tenants are medical providers and their patients Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to travel between Anchorage, Wasilla, and Palmer daily Valid Alaska driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work independently and manage time across multiple sites Preferred qualifications Experience in medical or healthcare facility maintenance Familiarity with ADA compliance and building codes Experience managing vendor and contractor relationships Painting and drywall finish experience What we offer Competitive pay commensurate with experience Mileage reimbursement for travel between properties, or use of company vehicle after probationary period Stable, year-round employment Supportive team environment Opportunity to grow with an expanding portfolio Health, Dental, PTO and 401K with employer match

Pay:
