Position Overview FMGI Inc is seeking a dependable and versatile Field Maintenance Technician with 1-3 years of construction experience. This role involves traveling to project sites to perform a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks. Candidates should be flexible, hands-on, and comfortable working varied hours, including nights and weekends.

Schedule:

38-50+ hours per week (includes travel time)

3 weeks PTO 100% employer-paid Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance Per diem for travel Company credit card 401(k) with company match Company iPhone and iPad Company truck provided for travel Key Responsibilities Perform general maintenance and repair work across commercial sites Complete carpentry tasks including finish work, framing, and sheetrock Conduct painting work (breakrooms, trims, drywall finishing) Execute door repairs including locksets, closures, and frames Perform basic concrete repairs , including patching holes and cracks (e.g., retail garden centers and curbs) Assist with minor welding repairs (Flux Core, Wire, Stick) as needed Communicate effectively with clients and project stakeholders on-site Maintain a high level of workmanship, safety, and professionalism Qualifications 1-3 years of construction or maintenance experience preferred Basic knowledge of carpentry, drywall, painting, and general repairs Welding experience is a plus Strong communication and customer service skills High level of dependability and flexibility Ability to work nights, weekends, and extended hours as needed Valid driver's license and willingness to travel Travel Requirements Travel throughout Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, and Mississippi Typical trips range from 1-2 days , with occasional projects lasting up to 2 weeks
