Part-Time Floor Technician

Job Description and Hours Hiring a part-time floor technician to assist in the stripping, waxing, and maintenance of VCT and other hard flooring surfaces on a per-project basis, including: Assisting with the movement of chairs, tables, and other furniture and items to prepare the service area as needed Application of stripping chemicals using string mops Use of commercial floor buffer (side-by-side) machines to remove spent wax and marks Application of waxes and polishes using microfiber mops Floor maintenance using commercial floor buffer machines First scheduled work dates (you must be available, no exceptions): Friday, May 29, 6pm-2am Saturday, May 30, 6pm-2am Sunday, May 31, 6pm-2am This position currently does not involve a regular schedule and often involves working evenings and weekends. Future projects may offer regular weekly floor maintenance hours. Successful candidates are people who reliably arrive to work on time and require little supervision, and we reward our cleaners by paying them some of the highest wages in the industry while offering benefits and bonuses. Pay & Benefits All new floor technicians make a minimum $15/hr, including during their paid training period. Employees receive regular raises based on time in the company, trainings completed, and customer feedback. 0-30 days: $15 per hour paid training 31+ days: $15+ per hour We pay weekly on Fridays via direct deposit and award all bonuses in cash. After 180 days of employment, full-time employees (36+ hours) earn Paid Time Off and are eligible for benefits including insurance and profit sharing bonuses. Working Environment 100% of shift time will take place in interior offices, lobbies, break rooms, and bathrooms that are air-conditioned Must be able to stand or walk for up to 8 hours per shift No individual lifting required beyond 50 pounds and no team lifting beyond 90lbs Work polo shirt and cleaning apron provided, closed shoes and pants required Requirements and Qualifications Must have previous, verifiable floor technician experience Must be able to safely operate commercial floor buffers and other commercial equipment without accommodations Must be able to safely lift up to 50lbs without accommodations and team lift up to 90lbs without accommodations Must be able to pass a felony criminal background check Must be able to complete paid on-the-job training Must be able to adhere to all company policies and procedures Must have reliable transportation and a smart phone with data to clock in/out Apply Now!
